This win marks their fourth consecutive victory since the post-split fixtures began. Their next challenge comes on Sunday at Celtic Park against Hearts, with a large crowd anticipated.

Starting the split four points behind Rangers, who remained undefeated, Sadiku understood that her team likely needed to win all ten remaining games to clinch Celtic FC Women’s inaugural title this season.

On Sunday afternoon, Celtic FC Women journeyed to Paradise to take on Hearts, securing a vital victory that sees them now two points clear at the summit of the league table, with theRangers looking up at them from below.

Following tonight’s triumph over Hibs and a helping hand from Hearts in the capital, Celtic FC Women have ascended to the top of the league, firmly establishing themselves as the frontrunners in the title race.

The match kicked off with Celtic dominating possession, showcasing their attacking intent and creating promising opportunities. In the 21st minute, Caitlin Hayes broke the deadlock with a well-placed header from a corner. Moments later, Kit Loferski and Tash Flint combined effectively, nearly doubling the lead, only to be denied by a resilient save.
