Ian Doyle’s evaluations on Liverpool’s players following their 3-1 victory over West Ham United in the Premier League
Following the 3-1 victory over West Ham United at Anfield, Ian Doyle has released his ratings of Liverpool players, and some of them received very high marks.
At halftime, the score was even thanks to Jarrod Bowen’s outstanding diving header after Mohamed Salah’s decisive penalty given the Reds the early lead.
After the first half, Jurgen Klopp made no immediate adjustments despite the missed opportunities for Darwin Nunez and Bowen.
But after 60 minutes, the Uruguayan international finished expertly with his right after Alexis Mac Allister passed the ball over the top.
Diogo Jota, a late substitute, secured the win with a brilliant poach off of a Virgil van Dijk knockdown from an Andy Robertson corner.

8 Joe Gomez
embraced the challenge of playing as an inverted right-back throughout a busy performance and frequently helped the attack. diligent on defense as well. Impressive.
8 Joel Matip
had good control at times when facing the dangerous Antonio and moved forward into the middle of the field when it was possible. Calm despite West Ham’s late pressure.
Van Dijk, Virgil 7
Solid for the majority of the game, but brave Bowen caught him off guard for the equalizer. A powerful header initiated the third.

Regularly assisted Liverpool’s left-side attacks and made some strong tackles; he wasn’t intimidated by West Ham’s sporadic physical strength on his flank.

No. 8 Dominik Szoboszlai
aimed to keep the Reds moving before the interval by posing difficulties and passing with some vigor. Displaying success and discipline. resembles a true Liverpool player.
Jones, Curtis 7
brought life to the back end and the busiest player during a challenging first 15 minutes, and he kept it up the entire time. Subbed.

Nunez was given a chance after winning and converting a penalty and consistently appeared dangerous when in possession. worked assiduously to recover lost balls.

held onto the ball well, contributed to the penalty kick’s success, wasted a good opportunity in the second half, but made up for it by scoring the game’s winning goal. Another successful outing. Subbed.
7 Luis Diaz
remained rushing the West Ham defense and especially connected nicely with Nunez and Robertson. Subbed.
Ryan Gravenberch (7 in place of Jones)
The signing on the final day makes its home debut.
