Restructure Jaire Alexander
The Packers restructured his deal to create cap space last offseason; expect them to do it again this year. Alexander has an $8 million roster bonus that can be turned into a signing bonus and prorated over his deal to lower his cap number, which currently sits at almost $24 million. A full restructure, which would add in base salary and void years to the conversion, could save the Packers over $10 million on the cap, per Ingalls. Even if they don’t do the max restructure, expect the Packers to use Alexander’s roster bonus to get cap relief.
Restructure Rashan Gary

Gary signed his new deal only months ago, but it was designed for restructuring. His $6.2 million roster bonus can be converted to a signing bonus, which would save the Packers roughly $5.3 million on the cap in 2024. It’s an easy decision given Gary’s age and status on the team.
Restructure/extend Clark

Clark is coming off a Pro Bowl season, somehow still only 28 years old and entering 2024 with a $27.5 million cap hit in the final year of the deal. Add it up and Clark is an obvious candidate for restructure or extension. His base salary of over $15 million can be converted into a signing bonus, providing savings in 2024. An extension might make more sense if the Packers strongly believe Clark still has 3-4 more good years. Both avenues could save the team over $10 million in cap space in 2024.
