Former Atlanta Braves Pitcher Michael Soroka Lists Luxe Townhome in the ATL for $1.15M.
New Chicago White Sox righty Michael Soroka has put his Atlanta townhome on the market for $1.15 million.
The starting pitcher was with the Atlanta Braves for six seasons.
Built in 2021 by John Weiland Homes, the luxury property has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and more than 1,300 square feet. The private, end unit is tucked away in a gated community.
Cute and comfortable
A gorgeous, glass-paned front door leads into a bright foyer with a cushioned storage bench and coat hooks. That chic entry space opens to a large living room with a fireplace and hardwood floors. There are also sliding-glass doors with deck access.
The first floor’s open-concept layout features a gourmet kitchen, where a Thermador range and a Professional Series refrigerator await. White, custom cabinets and a walk-in pantry stand ready with abundant storage, while the center island boasts ample seating. There’s also a windowed dining nook, complete with a chandelier.
An office—perfect for a work-from-home buyer—and a bedroom suite round out the first floor.
Take the stairs (or elevator!) up to the second level, where there are three more large bedrooms and a laundry room. The primary suite features a fabulous, en suite bathroom with a soaking tub, dual vanities, and a large walk-in closet.
Additional features include a two-car garage, finished basement, and central cooling and heating. The monthly HOA fees are $450.
This property is perfect for those who value privacy but want to be close to the big-city action. For starters, it’s just a 30-minute drive from downtown Atlanta.
Soroka, 26, was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 2015 and made his big-league debut in 2018. After an All-Star-worthy campaign in 2019, he’s been hampered by injuries for four seasons. Atlanta traded him to the White Sox in November.
