Steelers DB Elijah Riley Suffers Ankle Injury.
PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers lost a piece of their secondary in Week 11 after cornerback/safety Elijah Riley left in the third quarter with an ankle injury and has been ruled “doubtful” to return.
Riley left early in the second half while the Browns were pushing to reach the 50-yard line. He went to the sideline where he was evaluated by trainers before being ruled “doubtful” to return to the game.
Riley has taken over most of the slot work for the Steelers defense in sub-packages. With him off the field, Chandon Sullivan will take over, with Patrick Peterson being an option to bounce inside. Levi Wallace and James Pierre are also available if Pittsburgh needs to move players around.
Riley is also a key contributor on special teams for the Steelers. He totaled three tackles against the Browns before his departure.
All Steelers will continue to provide updates on Riley’s injury as more information becomes available.

The Cleveland Browns were able to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, 13–10, at home on Sunday in what was one of the most boring games of Week 11.

Garrett was suspended for the rest of the season, missing the final six games after that violent outburst.
Sunday’s situation wasn’t violent at all, and led to lots of jokes as Steelers players quickly got Kenny Pickett’s helmet back from Garrett, who seemed to have fun with the situation:
