Bregman’s leadership and winning experience make him an attractive addition, potentially filling the void left by Tyler O’Neill’s departure. In their pursuit of pitching excellence, the Red Sox are focusing on top-tier starters like Max Fried and Corbin Burnes. Fried, a 30-year-old left-hander, offers both ace potential and a left-handed presence in the rotation. Burnes, also 30, brings a strong track record, including a Cy Young Award in 2021.
