NASCAR insider shares update on expected third driver for 23XI Racing, Front Row, RFK Racing cars 🫤🫤🫤

NASCAR insider Bob Pockrass has shared an update on the expected third drivers for 23XI Racing, Front Row Motorsports, and RFK Racing cars. According to Pockrass, Riley Herbst is currently the top contender to drive the third car for 23XI Racing ¹. Herbst, a multi-race winner in the Xfinity Series, has been rumored to be in the running for this spot, and his family may have even helped with the purchase of the charter ².

As for Front Row Motorsports, Zane Smith is considered the leader for their third car ¹. Smith previously drove for FRM, winning a Truck Series championship and multiple races with the team, before leaving in 2023 ². Despite rumors of a soured relationship with Ford, Smith is still in the running for this spot.

RFK Racing’s third car is likely to be driven by Ryan Preece ¹. Preece is currently a driver for Stewart-Haas Racing, but with RFK’s major sponsorship deal with Kroger, they’re planning to expand to a third full-time car, and Preece is the top candidate ². However, it’s worth noting that RFK still needs to secure a charter for this third car, which could come from a lease or purchase ².
