DeAndre Moore, the talented wide receiver for the Texas Longhorns, has been making waves on the field, and he credits former teammate Jordan Whittington for playing a significant role in his development. Whittington, now with the Los Angeles Rams, was a fifth-year senior last season and took Moore under his wing, teaching him the ins and outs of the game ¹ ². Moore’s development has been impressive, especially considering he was buried on the depth chart behind Xavier Worthy, Adonai Mitchell, and Whittington himself last season ¹. However, after an impressive fall camp, Moore earned a starting role for Texas and has been making the most of it. He recently had a breakout performance against Mississippi State, hauling in four receptions for 103 yards and two touchdowns ³.
