Five-star guard Ayla McDowell has officially committed to the University of South Carolina, marking a significant addition to the Gamecocks’ 2025 recruiting class. Standing at 6-foot-2, McDowell hails from Cypress Springs High School in Cypress, Texas, and is recognized as one of the top prospects in the nation.
