Texas A&M University has announced significant partnerships in the motorsports arena, aligning with both NASCAR and INDYCAR for the 2025 season. This initiative is not merely about brand visibility but aims to embody and promote the university’s core values on a national platform.

In NASCAR, Texas A&M will serve as a season-long associate sponsor for the Haas Factory Team’s No. 41 Ford Mustang, driven by Cole Custer. The university will also be the primary sponsor for the Coca-Cola 600 race in Charlotte, featuring a maroon and digital camouflage design that honors military service. Custer expressed pride in representing Texas A&M, noting the alignment between the university’s values and the team’s philosophy

Simultaneously, Texas A&M is entering the INDYCAR series by sponsoring driver Felix Rosenqvist for the 2025 season. The university’s branding will be prominently displayed on Rosenqvist’s helmet and uniform. Rosenqvist shared his enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting Texas A&M’s commitment to honoring military-affiliated personnel

These collaborations are strategically timed to coincide with Memorial Day weekend, a period that features two major racing events: the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600. Texas A&M’s involvement in these events underscores its dedication to celebrating American values and honoring fallen military service members.

R. Ethan Braden, Texas A&M’s Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, emphasized that these partnerships are about more than exposure. They represent an opportunity to showcase the university’s commitment to excellence, integrity, leadership, loyalty, respect, and selfless service to a broad and engaged audience

This move into motorsports reflects Texas A&M’s broader mission to be a force for good, leveraging high-profile platforms to share its story and values with the nation.
