big congratulation::Austin Hill Claims Victory in Saturday’s Xfinity Series Race at Martinsville…..

In a dramatic conclusion to the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Martinsville Speedway on March 29, 2025, Austin Hill secured victory in the US Marine Corps 250. The race, originally scheduled for 250 laps, extended to 256 due to an overtime finish. Hill, driving the No. 21 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing (RCR), capitalized on a last-lap incident involving the leading cars to clinch the win.

Reflecting on the unexpected win, Hill expressed disbelief and elation, stating, “When I saw the checkered flag, I was in disbelief.” The race was characterized by multiple cautions and a highly competitive field, with Connor Zilisch leading a race-high 100 laps before being involved in late-race incidents that relegated him to a 28th-place finish.

In addition to the race victory, Hill secured a $100,000 bonus as part of the Dash 4 Cash initiative, a program that rewards top-performing drivers in select Xfinity Series races.

The aftermath of the race saw heightened emotions, particularly between drivers Sammy Smith and Taylor Gray, who were involved in the final-lap collision. Their on-track incident led to a heated exchange near the infield care center, highlighting the intense competition and stakes inherent in the series.

Hill’s victory at Martinsville underscores his resilience and strategic acumen on short tracks, reinforcing his position as a formidable contender in the 2025 Xfinity Series season. As the series progresses, Hill and the RCR team aim to build on this momentum in pursuit of further success.
