Walker Buehler, the Boston Red Sox’s recent acquisition, has been actively engaging with fans and the team ahead of spring training. In a social media post, he greeted Red Sox supporters with the message: “What up Boston? #0 here… See y’all soon,” indicating his excitement to join the team and revealing his new jersey number as zero.

Additionally, Buehler has taken on a recruiting role by encouraging his friend and free-agent third baseman, Alex Bregman, to consider joining the Red Sox. He stated, “I have certainly made a pitch all over the place for him to come to Boston,” highlighting their long-standing friendship and shared interests.

Reflecting on his move from the Los Angeles Dodgers, Buehler expressed gratitude to his former team’s fans, acknowledging their support over the years. He conveyed his appreciation, saying, “I will always take great pride in the fact I wore this jersey and we brought 2 [expletive] championships back to this city.”
