DEAL COMPLETED:: Tony Stewart silently sells out Eldora speedway to Saudi Arabian and he was…….

Recent rumors have suggested that Tony Stewart, the renowned motorsport figure and owner of Eldora Speedway, has sold the historic dirt track to a Saudi Arabian buyer. However, these claims are unfounded. Stewart has publicly addressed and refuted such speculation, affirming his commitment to retaining ownership of the venue.

In June 2024, during the broadcast of the Dirt Late Model Dream event, Stewart directly confronted these rumors. He stated unequivocally, “This track is not sold and it is not for sale.” Stewart emphasized his dedication to preserving the legacy initiated by the original owners, Earl and Berneice Baltes, who established Eldora Speedway in 1954. He expressed pride in continuing their tradition and reiterated his intention to maintain ownership for the foreseeable future.

Stewart’s acquisition of Eldora Speedway in 2004 marked the beginning of his stewardship over one of the most iconic dirt tracks in the United States. Under his ownership, the venue has continued to host premier events such as the World 100, Kings Royal, and the Dirt Late Model Dream, attracting top-tier talent and large audiences. Stewart’s hands-on approach and passion for dirt track racing have been instrumental in sustaining the track’s prominence in the motorsport community.

The persistence of these sale rumors has been a source of frustration for Stewart. He noted that such unfounded claims can cause unnecessary confusion among fans, sponsors, and stakeholders, potentially disrupting the operations and reputation of the speedway. By addressing the rumors directly during a live broadcast, Stewart aimed to dispel any doubts and reaffirm his unwavering commitment to Eldora Speedway.
