What to know about the 21 signees in Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class

Derek Meadows– WR

Meadows was committed to LSU but flipped and signed with Alabama on Wednesday. The four-star prospect from Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas is listed at 6-foot-5, 200 pounds.

Luke Metz– LB

The four-star prospect joins Alabama from Georgia. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 220 pounds, and will likely play inside linebacker for the Crimson Tide.

Marshall Pritchett– TE

One of two tight ends in the class, Pritchett is a four-star prospect from Georgia, who is listed at 6-foot-5, 211 pounds. He’s listed as the No. 23 tight end in the nation by the 247Sports composite.

Keelon Russell– QB

Five-star prospect from Duncanville in Texas. The 6-foot-3, 175-pound signal-caller was previously committed to SMU before flipping to and signing with Alabama.

Abduall Sanders– LB

Another four-star prospect from California, the 6-foot-2, 225-pound Sanders chose the Crimson Tide over Auburn and Tennessee. He’s listed as the No. 34 linebacker in the class by the 247 composite.

London Simmons– DL

A three-star prospect from Mississippi. Simmons is listed at 6-foot-3 and weighs in at 295 pounds.

Ivan Taylor– DB

A four-star safety from Florida, and the son of former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ike Taylor. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Taylor is the No. 7 safety in the class according to the 247Sports composite.

Mal Waldrep– OL

An in-state three-star prospect, Waldrep joins Alabama from Central-Phenix City. He’s listed at 6-foot-5, 320 pounds
