Jaylen Brown hasn’t played in more than a week due to a left hip flexor strain, but it appears he could make his return soon. Brown was upgraded to questionable on the Celtics injury report ahead of the 3:30 p.m. Sunday game against the Bucks.
The Celtics also have three other players listed on the injury report. Kristaps Porzingis remains out due to surgery rehab. Luke Kornet (right hamstring tightness) and Jaden Springer (left knee tendinopathy) are both questionable.

The Bucks have five players listed on their injury report as they’ve had a slow start to the season. Giannis Antetokounmpo (right patella) and Ryan Rollins (left shoulder contusion) are probable. Andre Jackson Jr. (left hip) and Gary Trent Jr. (lower back spasms) are questionable. Khris Middleton is still out due to ankle surgery.
Brown has missed the past four games due to that left hip flexor injury. C‘s coach Joe Mazzulla said Brown is considered day-to-day as the injury doesn‘t seem too serious. Kornet hurt his hamstring against the Warriors as he missed the Nets win Friday. Springer‘s injury is new, though he hasn’t been in the rotation all season.The Celtics narrowly beat the Nets last time out as they come into Sunday’s game with an 8-2 record. The Bucks have significantly struggled, going 2-7 thus far as one of the worst teams in the East. Milwaukee will look to bounce back on its home court coming off a blowout loss to the Knicks on Friday.
