Aliyah Boston Responds to Caitlin Clark with a Powerful Nine-Word Tweet

If there’s anyone who understands the kind of adversity and controversy Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark endured during her rookie season, it’s her teammate Aliyah Boston. Clark found herself in the crossfire of several media pundits including WNBA legend Sheryl Swoopes, ESPN’s Pat McAfee and plenty of others, and on a nightly basis she got every team’s best shot – sometimes literally.

Clark reflected on her tumultuous, record-breaking rookie season with a heartfelt Instagram post on Wednesday evening in which she expressed gratitude for everyone who played a part in it, which prompted some messages from her teammates, among others. Boston was among those who commented on Clark’s post, leaving her a glowingly positive message and negating any perception – most of which through speculation on Swoopes’ part – that Clark was a lightning rod in the Fever locker room.
