But the game won’t matter because Indiana has already locked in their playoff spot and seed. With the win over the Dallas Wings on Sunday, the Fever secured the sixth seed in the postseason. The Phoenix Mercury could still tie Indiana in the standings, but with the Fever sweeping the season series, they would win the tiebreaker. On Monday, the Fever made an official announcement on X that their seeding has been officially set. They also revealed when their first playoff game will be. “Locked in the No. 6 seed for the WNBA playoffs,” the Fever wrote on X. “Our first round series tips off Sunday. the matchup and full series schedule will be announced following the conclusion of the regular season on Thursday.”
