Good news, bad news for NASCAR Cup teams ahead of Sunday’s Michigan race

*23XI Racing* has good news with Tyler Reddick’s four top-three finishes in the last five races, and Bubba Wallace moving into the final playoff spot. However, Reddick has never finished better than 18th in five Cup starts at Michigan, and has placed 29th or worse in his last three starts there.

*Hendrick Motorsports* has good news with Kyle Larson remaining the points leader, and Chase Elliott being the only driver in the series who has been running at the finish of all the races this season. However, William Byron has not led a lap in the last nine races, and Alex Bowman has an average finish of 24 in 14 career starts at Michigan.

*Joe Gibbs Racing* has good news with Martin Truex Jr. having four runner-up finishes at Michigan, including last year, and Christopher Bell winning a series-best 10 stages this season. However, the organization has not won in the last five races, which is their longest winless streak of the season, and Truex is winless in the last 39 races.
