Naji Marshall, a 26-year-old forward, agreed to a three-year, $27 million deal to join the Dallas Mavericks ² ³ ⁴. Marshall will likely fill a bench role with the Mavericks. He averaged 7.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 66 games with the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2023-2024 season.

The addition of Thompson and Marshall comes after the Mavericks’ impressive run in the previous season, where they reached the NBA Finals but were eliminated by the Boston Celtics in five games ³.
