Caitlin Clark Was Visibly Frustrated With Fever Teammate For Taking A Shot Instead Of Passing

Caitlin Clark says and does all of the right things in front of WNBA media and fans. However, she often struggles to veil her emotions when on the court with the Indiana Fever.

It is not hard to decipher the No. 1 overall pick’s true feelings toward head coach Christie Sides or her teammates— especially when she is frustrated!

Clark has been under constant scrutiny throughout the last two years. All of the chatter really picked up when she and Iowa lost to Angel Reese and LSU in the national championship in 2023. People love to hate on her every move so she rarely gives them reason to do so. Her interviews are always gracious. She always takes the high road and is not fazed by all of the drama.

Basketball is the only thing that matters to Caitlin Clark.

With that being said, there have been multiple instances in which the 22-year-old has made it very clear how she really feels. Clark has complained about head coach Christie Sides, looked entirely unimpressed by a late-game play call at the end of a loss to the Sun, and has picked up a few technical fouls for chirping back at opponents.

Clark most recently looked fed up with teammate Kristy Wallace. Her backcourt counterpart has struggled as a shooter this year. Wallace averages 5.6 points per game on less than 40% shooting and less than 30% from beyond the arc. Those numbers aren’t horrible, but they have been lower of late.

Wallace pulled up for three during Indiana’s loss to Chicago on Sunday. Clark was visibly frustrated with something — likely the shot selection — even though the shot went in.
