Eberechi Eze’s path to an England call-up is a story of remarkable resilience and talent, marked by overcoming numerous setbacks. Released by multiple academies, Eze never let these early disappointments deter him, instead using them as fuel to hone his skills and push forward in his career.

His exceptional ability to influence games has been on display since his time in the Championship with Queens Park Rangers (QPR), and he has continued to impress in the Premier League with Crystal Palace. Eze’s dynamic and skillful style of play has made him a standout performer, consistently impacting matches with his creativity and flair.

Eze’s inclusion in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the Euros highlights his significant growth and success. It serves as a powerful testament to the value of hard work and perseverance, demonstrating that even after facing rejection, true talent combined with dedication can lead to the highest levels of achievement in football.

However, it has not always been smooth sailing for the Englishman, despite being called up for the squad for the upcoming European Championships.

While he has been exceptional at the top level of English football this season and has earned his place in Gareth Southgate’s England setup, the 25-year-old has previously experienced hardship, having been released by various academies before being signed by Queens Park Rangers.

However, Eze faced his first career setback when he was released by the North London side at age 13, leaving him without a club. After a brief trial spell at Southend, Eze found his new home in West London, playing for Fulham’s academy after a teammate’s parent suggested he trial for them.
