Noel Hunt’s Under-21 team recently experienced a narrow defeat, losing 4-3 to Sunderland in the PL2 semi-finals. Despite the loss, the Academy has much to celebrate as it marks its 25th anniversary this summer. Over the past quarter-century, the Academy has successfully transitioned 80 players from youth teams to the first team since its inception in 1999.
