Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn of the Cowboys has emerged as a sought-after candidate for head coaching positions across the league, with interest from several teams including the Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers, Washington Commanders, Seattle Seahawks, and Los Angeles Chargers.
Of particular note is the Seahawks, who are seen as strong contenders for Quinn’s services following the departure of longtime head coach Pete Carroll. Quinn’s history with the Seahawks, where he previously served as defensive coordinator and in other coaching roles, adds weight to these speculations.
The potential departure of Quinn has sparked reactions from players, notably star defender Micah Parsons. Parsons acknowledged the transient nature of the business, recognizing that it might mark his final season working alongside Quinn. Despite this, Parsons expressed gratitude and loyalty towards Quinn, hinting that he might even consider following him to a new team if the opportunity arose. Since joining the Cowboys in 2021 as the 12th overall pick in the NFL Draft, Parsons has made significant contributions to the team’s defense, earning multiple accolades including Pro Bowl selections and recognition as the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2021.
