Nonetheless, there’s speculation about a potential trade scenario that could see the All-Pro safety Budda Baker joining their ranks, aiming to fortify their secondary and create one of the most formidable defensive backfields in the NFL.

Baker had expressed interest in a trade prior to the commencement of the 2023 season, although the Arizona Cardinals managed to retain him. However, with Baker’s current contract set to expire after just one more year, the Cardinals might seek to capitalize on his value before he hits free agency.

Maurice Moton of Bleacher Report outlined various trade propositions for the NFL’s leading Super Bowl contenders, with one suggestion involving the Packers pursuing Baker.

According to Moton, “The Packers have the opportunity to significantly enhance their defensive lineup by bringing in Budda Baker, thus forming one of the league’s most formidable safety duos. Given the relatively subdued market for safeties, Green Bay could potentially secure Baker from the Arizona Cardinals with a late-round draft pick, notwithstanding his five consecutive Pro Bowl selections.”
