Packers coach Matt LaFleur casually socializes with Bears counterpart Matt Eberflus during Marquette game…

As the sellout crowd trickled into Fiserv Forum on Wednesday night for the Marquette-Connecticut game, there must have been many attendees who did a double-take when they saw two spectators amiably chatting in the front row.

Yes, that indeed was Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur chomping down on some popcorn. But who was LaFleur talking to?

Is that …. Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus?

Yup, the NFC North rivals seemed to be getting along famously.

Maybe LaFleur casually brought up Green Bay’s season sweep last season. Or maybe they were discussing prospects from last week’s NFL combine. Maybe they are just fans of Big East basketball and are scouting two of the top teams in the nation before the NCAA Tournament.

LaFleur and Eberflus were shown on the Fiserv Forum scoreboard in the first half. The screen cut back-and-forth between the two coaches, and the crowd alternated between cheers for LaFleur and boos for Eberflus.
