Former Green Bay Packers Executive Eliot Wolf Gives Bold Comments
Eliot Wolf, the son of Packers Hall of Fame GM Ron Wolf, asked how Green Bay manages to find the right QB consistently.
Wolf’s comments echo the consensus, and while they were delivered in jest, they still raise a valid question about how other teams view the situation.
Wolf’s Time In Green Bay
Eliot Wolf embarked on his journey with the Packers back in 2004 as a Pro Personnel Assistant, a role he held until 2008. Following this, he ascended to the position of Assistant Director of Pro Personnel from 2008 to 2011, subsequently transitioning to Assistant Director of Player Personnel from 2011 to 2012. His career progression continued as he assumed the role of Director of Pro Personnel from 2012 to 2015, followed by Director of Player Personnel from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, he was entrusted with the position of Director of Football Operations. Although Wolf was considered as one of the contenders for the Packers General Manager role, ultimately, the position was awarded to Brian Gutekunst.
