Manning’s legacy is marked by his pivotal role in securing two Super Bowl victories for the Giants in 2007 and 2011. Most notably, his iconic fourth-down pass to David Tyree, known as the ‘helmet catch,’ sealed an upset win over the undefeated New England Patriots in ’07.
Having dedicated his entire 16-year career to the Giants, Manning displayed remarkable durability by starting in all 16 games each season from 2005 to 2016. He quickly made an impact upon becoming the team’s starting quarterback, earning Pro Bowl honors after his fourth season in 2008 and securing three more selections in subsequent years.
