Packers Tailgate Tour, featuring current, former players, to visit southern Wisconsin.
GREEN BAY — From Kenosha in the east to Platteville in the west, southern Wisconsin cities will be visited by the Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour this year.
The 500-mile journey is set for April 9–11 and will feature both current and former Packers players in addition to Mark Murphy, the team’s president and CEO. Sun Prairie, Beloit, Platteville, and Kenosha are among the destinations that have been announced.
Rasheed Walker, Kenny Clark, and Elgton Jenkins are current players who ride with Murphy. Mike Daniels, Alex Green, and Bryan Bulaga are former athletes. Jenkins also participated in the tour in 2023.
The tour bus will also make unannounced stops at schools, hospitals, businesses, retirement homes and community centers to make donations, participate in fundraisers and give away merchandise and other goodies.The first announced stop will be at The Club at Strawberry Creek in Kenosha County to participate in a fundraiser from 5:30 to 8 p.m. April 9 for The Shalom Center. Tickets are $100 each and available at shalomcenter.org/events. Proceeds will go to the center’s food, shelter and community resource programs.The Packers will attend a fundraising event for Platteville Dairy Days from 5 to 8 p.m. April 11 at Broske Center in Platteville. The event will include a Mac & Cheese Cook-Off. Tickets are $25 each and are available at dairydaysmacandcheese2024.eventbrite.com. Raffles, food and beverages must be purchased separately. VIP tickets are $75 each and limited to 50 tickets. They must be purchased at the Platteville Regional Chamber office.
