MLB.com took a look back at some of the best single-game performances for each team in 2023. So who do you think had the best single-game performance for the Braves in 2023? It’s the same guy who won the National League MVP Award, Ronald Acuña Jr.
Of course, it’s Acuña. He is the best player in all of baseball. Which one of his games was the best? It was when the Braves played in Coors Field against the Colorado Rockies on August 28th. Acuña finished the game with a 4-for-5 performance from the plate with a double, a homer, five RBI, and two stolen bases. Here is what MLB.com had to say about it.
The player who finished fourth in the NL MVP race got a shoutout as an honorable mention as he teed off against the Miami Marlins at Truist Park on June 30th. First baseman Matt Olson finished that game 4-for-5 from the plate with a triple, two homers, and five RBI. Those were just two of the best performances from two of the best players in the MLB this year.
