MLB has selected the Braves to host the 2025 All-Star Game at Truist Park. The date “was open” as Texas will host in 2024 and Philadelphia will host in 2026. MLB “yanked the showcase game from Truist Park in 2021” in protest of Georgia’s new election law, “under pressure from players and politicians,” and the game eventually was held in Colorado. Atlanta last hosted the All-Star game in 2000 and also hosted the game in 1972 (ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION, 11/16).
