The Tennessee Titans add to their offense ahead of their Week 9 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers will face Tennessee Titans star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins in Week 9, despite being questionable with a toe injury. According to NFL Network’s Tom Peliserro, Hopkins is expected to play.

Hopkins was a surprise name on the Titans’ final injury report, being labeled as questionable after his biggest performance of the season. In Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons, he caught four passes for 128 yards and three touchdowns.

Having Hopkins will be a major boost for the Titans offense, especially their rookie quarterback Will Levis, who is set to start his second career game. Last week, he threw for four touchdowns, three of which went to Hopkins.

“Did you watch the game last week?” defensive coordinator Teryl Austin said when asked if Hopkins is still as dangerous. “He’s got unbelievable catch radius. He knows how to sell routes. He’s just really good. You don’t see anything less from him.”

Hopkins will likely face Steelers rookie Joey Porter Jr., who is also set to make his second career start. So far this season, the rookie cornerback has shut down names like Davante Adams, Odell Beckham Jr. and Puka Nakua, and will be looking to add Hopkins to the list in Week 9.
