Celtic has revealed the midfielder’s three-year contract.
When it comes to signing players to contracts, Celtic has been very busy lately. Several players have signed new contracts, including Matt O’Riley, Reo Hatate, Kyogo, Daizen Maeda, Callum McGregor, and a few more. Furthermore, the Hoops are not concentrating solely on the senior squad.
It’s fair that many Celtic supporters have lamented the team’s inability to develop its young players into starting lineup players in recent years. The fact that many of them have opted to leave before ever having a significant influence has not benefited Celtic.
It should come as no surprise that the team wants to retain its top young players in Glasgow for the foreseeable future. And with one of them, a three-year contract has been agreed upon.
Sean McArdle has signed his first professional deal with the Hoops, according to the official Celtic website. He signed a three-year contract that will keep him with the team through the 2026 summer.
Celtic has revealed that midfielder Ardle, who is currently 16 years old, has signed a three-year contract. Nonetheless, it is thought that he has a promising future.
This season, McArdle has participated with both the B Team and the u18 squad. The three-year deal he was given is proof positive that the club has great expectations for him and his future.
It remains to be seen if McArdle can make an impression at the young level and eventually make his way into Celtic’s senior team. It will be challenging, but not insurmountable.
It is necessary for Celtic to elevate a few of their young players to the senior squad. Callum McGregor is the sole member of the current squad with a defined function.
