Former Celtic defender Moritz Jenz recently gushed about his old team. The German center back and his family fell in love with Glasgow during their six months there.

Though his stint with the Bhoys was brief, Jenz is thriving in his native country and is currently playing for Wolfsburg. Although injured at the moment, the 24-year-old has been chatting about his former squad.

According to Jenz, who was speaking to The Scottish Sun, injuries and the need to integrate new players were the main reasons why Celtic’s season got off to a rough start. With the new management and the addition of two new center halves, he claimed that the season’s beginning had been a little challenging. The new men are inexperienced at that level and are young. Every week, they were required to perform at a large club.

The majority of the winners’ recent additions appear to be settling in by this point, and the commanding defender made an important statement regarding the Celts’ chances of winning the crown. He added: “But with Cameron [Carter-Vickers] back, there will be stability again, and they will stroll through the league like always.”

Some could claim that after eight games, Celtic are already’strolling’ the league with a seven-point lead over second place. Such a lead is extremely advantageous, but Brendan Rodgers’ team must maintain consistency and make sure they don’t let things slip.
