The midfielder has had a successful start to his short-term stint with the La Liga team after the Whites agreed to let him join Real Betis on loan.

The Leeds-owned player has one goal and one assist in eight league games, and both came in Sunday’s victory over Valencia by Real Betis.

The 26-year-old said that he has already adapted well to the club in a radio interview with Onda Cero’s Radioestadio following the tie.

“I’m overjoyed. I’m enjoying it [at Real Betis], I’m having a wonderful time, he remarked.

Ramón Planes, sporting director of Real Betis, said last month that Roca was eager to sign with his team in the most recent transfer window. The ex-Espanyol player claimed he handled his brief departure from Elland Road quite well.

According to Estadio Deportivo, the Spaniard has expressed a desire to make a permanent move to Real Betis following this season.

Three victories out of eight league games have gone to Manuel Pellegrini’s club, and Roca is adamant that he and his current colleagues must concentrate on raising the score.

Real Betis’ ‘aspirations’ for this season, according to Roca, are as follows: “We like to dream big, but we know that we have to keep our feet on the ground. The season is incredibly rigorous and lengthy.
