In the midst of uncertainty around a repurchase clause, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has reaffirmed that his team would have the “ability” to re-sign Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane.

According to later reports, the condition is actually a way to offer Tottenham first refusal in the event Harry Kane decides to leave the Allianz Arena rather than a simple buyback option.
