Liverpool's appetite for miracles may not be enough, admits Jürgen Klopp | Liverpool | The Guardian

Despite signing a new four-year agreement at Liverpool 18 months ago, Klopp has frequently been mentioned as a candidate to lead his native country.

The four-time world champions have hired former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann to lead them during their 2024 Euro campaign.

However, when Die Mannschaft officials approached the 56-year-old about accepting the previously vacant position, it is said that they were disappointed.

When the matter was previously brought up, Klopp reiterated his commitment to Anfield. This week, when Nagelsmann’s candidacy was brought up, Klopp endorsed him.

“I believe Julian is a great solution because he is a great coach,” he declared.

“At the age of 28, he had already demonstrated his prowess as a coach. Eight years of experience are his.

Others have that by the age of 45 or 50 – at the pinnacle level.
