Vinicius Junior and Arda Guler, who could play a role in Sunday’s match against Atletico Madrid, returned to training for Real Madrid ahead of the Madrid derby.
Vinicius has been sidelined since the end of August due to a hamstring problem, and Guler has not yet played after suffering a knee ailment that required minor surgery.
The pair have been working out in preparation for the game; whether they will be included in the team will be known on Saturday. However, neither is likely to be considered for an early start.
Dani Carvajal will once again be sidelined because of a more serious muscle problem than first anticipated, while Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao continue to miss significant amounts of time due to serious knee ailments.
At right-back, Lucas Vazquez should once more start, with Joselu expected to continue attacking with Rodrygo.
The major topic of discussion regarding the composition of the team is midfield.
