Harrison Parker, a 17-year-old Manchester United prospect, will soon be acquired by Manchester City, according to Fabrizio Romano. The young player has been in negotiations with the Premier League champions for a few months, and a contract is very close to being finalized.

One of the best examples of how a football team should operate is Manchester City. The Cityzens have had a successful period with their senior teams on and off the field while also restocking the ranks of their academy teams with great arrivals and departures.

Manchester City sold products from their academy for nearly £70 million during the most recent summer window. The only player with first-team experience is Cole Palmer. The club will naturally replace these talents with new ones when some of these players depart, and they are already doing so.

Parker had been sought after by Manchester City for a few months at this point, and they would appear content as the deal nears completion. Romano said that the papers had already been signed and that the only thing left was the announcement.

Parker allegedly signed Manchester City on August 1 according to Transfermarkt. There hasn’t been a formal announcement from either team as of yet. Manchester City is looking at further young players in the market in addition to the acquisitions of Parker and Mukasa.
