Danilo Cabellos is obviously not in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans as he hasn’t played a single minute for Real Madrid this year.
It turns out that Aston Villa might emerge as a solution for the midfielder, according reports from the Spanish media.
According to publication Fichajes, Unai Emery has been monitoring Ceballos for a considerable amount of time.
The midfielder would then reportedly be sent to England by Aston Villa during the January transfer window by working out a deal with the La Liga powerhouses.
Then Emery would ‘give him charge’ of their midfield. In this way, Ceballos gets the playing time he wants while the manager obtains one of his “great objects of desire.”
The plan is for Aston Villa to sign the player on a six-month loan, but it is unknown at this point whether Real Madrid will agree to such a deal.
