David Moyes has acknowledged that one of West Ham United’s new additions has left a lasting impression on him.
Four genuinely great new additions were made by West Ham United manager David Moyes during the summer transfer window.
For a total of about £120 million, Mohammed Kudus, James Ward-Prowse, Edson Alvarez, and Konstantinos Mavropanos were all acquired by the London Stadium.
Despite Declan Rice leaving the team to join Arsenal in the summer, the Hammers manager has undoubtedly strengthened his team.
And it appears that one summer acquisition in particular has already made an impression on Moyes.
David Moyes exalts West Ham’s newcomer.
Prior to tomorrow night’s Europa League match against Backa Topola, the Hammers boss was speaking with reporters.
For the game, the Scot is predicted to make significant substitutions, giving some of the bench players an opportunity to shine.
Mohammed Kudus is one of the guys that is in severe need of a start. Since joining from Ajax in the summer, he has only played 23 minutes for the team.
And Moyes responded when asked about what he has made of the attacking midfielder so far, as quoted by WHUFC.com:
In the Europa League matchup against Backa Topola tomorrow, I’m hoping to see Kudus start right away.
Getting him up to speed as soon as possible will be essential if we want to compete this season on all fronts, since he is an incredible talent.
Moyes is known for integrating foreign players into the team gradually but steadily.
With Kudus, nothing has changed in that regard. Tomorrow, though, he will undoubtedly make his debut for the Hammers. The home crowd will be hoping for great things from the Ghanaian if he succeeds, of course.
The 23-year-old has an abundance of skill, speed, and power, and when he’s on, I have no doubt that he’ll win the Premier League.
