Sven Botman is putting a lot of effort into getting cleared for Newcastle United’s match against Brentford.
Sven Botman, a defender for Newcastle United, is speeding up his injury recuperation at the team’s Benton facility in an effort to be ready for the conclusion of the international break. Last month, with Liverpool down to 10 men, the Dutchman hobbled out in the final moments before the Reds won a last-second victory.
One week later, Botman’s participation against Brighton was in doubt, although the 23-year-old complained of an ankle problem during little practice leading up to the Amex Stadium match. The former Lille star is currently at the club’s Benton training facility trying to get cleared for Brentford’s visit.
While their teammates are away on international duty, the duo has been working out hard. Willock posted a video on social media showing his Newcastle co-star Botman working up a sweat on an exercise bike.
When asked about the likely return date for Botman last week, Eddie Howe said, “This is an unknown, to be honest.” “There was a chance he would be fit for this game, but on Friday he didn’t feel well, so he was out. We’ll watch to see how rapidly he advances.
